Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026. This policy covers the website waypointpsychtx.com, operated by Waypoint Clinical & Forensic Psychology PLLC. Clinical and forensic records are covered separately, under Clinical Privacy below.

Information You Submit

When you fill out a form on this site, such as the contact form, the DBQ request form, or the OWCP intake form, the information you enter is sent to Waypoint Psychology's own administrative system. It is used to respond to your request and to schedule services. It is not sold, and it is not sent to Meta, Google, or any advertising service.

Please do not include detailed medical or mental health information in a website form. We will collect what we need through secure intake once we are in contact.

Cookies and Your Choice

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser. We also keep a record of the choice itself, along with your browser type and the page that referred you, so we can show that consent was obtained. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies that recognize repeat visits. If you reject them, Google Analytics runs without analytics cookies and receives only limited, non-identifying information about the page view. We do not use Google advertising features. Google's use of this information is described in its partner sites policy.

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

We advertise our Disability Benefits Questionnaire services on Facebook and Instagram. To measure those ads and show them to people likely to be interested, we use the Meta Pixel on our DBQ pages only, and only if you have accepted cookies. It does not run anywhere else on this site.

When it runs, the pixel tells Meta that a DBQ page was visited and sends standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device details, and Meta cookie identifiers. Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account you use. The pixel is configured not to collect form fields or button clicks, and the contents of the DBQ request form are never sent to Meta.

Meta's use of this information is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. You can manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Meta ad preferences.

Technical Data

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Clinical Privacy

All clinical and forensic services provided by Waypoint Psychology are subject to applicable state and federal privacy protections, including HIPAA. Information in your clinical record is never shared with advertising or analytics services. For your rights regarding clinical records, see Patient Rights or contact the office directly.

Changes to This Policy

If we change how the website collects or uses information, we will update this page and its effective date.
